Remote Access Assistance
We can provide all of our clients remote access repairs saving you the inconvenience of brining your computer into our shop for repair. We cannot repair all problems this way, but this avenue does provide for a way of correcting many minor repairs or issues. It is required that the software below is install on your computer in order for us to access the your computer to provide for this service. There is no charge for this software installation to the client.
Download and Install the Team Viewer software, then phone (604-792-6799) or email us with your ID & Password which will be provided to you from the software after it is installed so we may proceed to assist you.
Our
minimum charge for remote repairs is $30.00 and allows for 30 minutes of service
regardless of the outcome. Any time over
the initial 30 minutes will be invoiced at the rate of $6.68 per 10 minute segment or part
there of rounded off to the next closest segment.
Remote Tutorials
Clients may pre-purchase Labour segments at a reduced rate and this is the most economical way of providing remote tutorials to the client.
Tutorials are provided remotely and are on a one to one basis via phone and remote internet connections to the client’s computer. This system works very well as the client can use their own computer which they are familiar with to follow along.
In most cases, we will review and demonstrate the procedures you will be required to learn to accomplish your goals and then we will have you repeat the procedure that we just demonstrated to you.
This may take several attempts from us and you to ensure that you are comfortable with the discussed and demonstrated procedure(s).
It is very helpful if you have a hands free telephone at your computer station so you may talk and type or mouse at the same time.
