Reasonable Rates
Our rates are $40.00 per hour, in house, plus any required parts and applicable taxes. If you wish to supply your own parts, that is fine by us, but you are on your own for the cost of replacment if they fail or are determined to be the cause of any future problems.
We can attend at site as well and our rates for service calls are $55.00 minimum charge, and $50.00 per hour after the first 30 minutes in the Chilliwack area, plus applicable taxes, however we prefer to do all work in house where have access to all of our equipment and software that may be necessary to effect proper repairs.
In house repair allows us access to diagnostic tools and facilities not available to us in the field and we feel we can better serve our clients in this fashion. If you are uncomfortable about unhooking you computer devices and peripherals such as the keyboard, mouse, monitor etc. we can arrange to pick up your computer for you.
Please be aware there is a fee associated with pick up and delivery and installing your computer, however, this fee does not apply to non mobile Seniors and Shut-Ins in the Chilliwack area.
A good practice to ensure all device are plugged back in the right ports when you get your computer back, is to place a small piece of masking tape beside each port or connection on the back of your computer and letter or number it and then put masking tape on the peripheral (mouse, keyboard, monitor, printers, scanners) and number it the same as the number or letter you place beside the corresponding port prior to unplugging these devices. A felt pen 'sharpie' works well for this purpose.
Should you decide in shop repairs are for you, please contact us for delivery instructions. All we require is your computer, it is not necessary to bring your monitor, keyboard or mouse etc. or any other cords, unless you feel they could be part of a particular problem you may be experiencing. Please ensure that you supply us with any of your software that may be required to implement repairs to your computer and always bring your copy of your windows operating system if you have it.
Should it be required that your operating system does require re-installation, you are responsible to provide your copy of windows or at minimum your operating system key to unlock your copy of the operating system you are using.
